BARS Musical – Marketing

For my Arts Management Senior Experience project in partnership with Playhouse Square, I am part of the marketing team for an immersive new virtual musical, BARS – Beatboxing, Acting, Rapping, Singing.

  • Created a brand for a new music theatre experience
  • Developed digital marketing strategies to promote a virtual live musical
  • Was the direct communication liaison between the marketing team and the Playhouse Square mentor.

Digital Marketing Clinic – Account Executive

In my forth project with the Digital Marketing Clinic, but first as an Account Executive, I lead a team of 3 students, responsible for promoting a new video series called Dream It, Do It.

  • Designed a social media promotional kit for partner universities
  • Created an Instagram presence from scratch
  • Updated website, LinkedIn, and Facebook presences
  • Developed video descriptions for YouTube series

BroadwayWorld.com – Student Blogger

When my summer internship got canceled in 2020, I had to find other things to stay active and keep learning. I began writing blog posts for the biggest Broadway content website in the world: BroadwayWorld.com

  • I write two articles per month about my experiences, industry updates and artist interviews
  • Six of my articles were raked the most read post of the week

Spring Awakening virtual production – Marketing

When the performing arts world turned upside down, Baldwin Wallace University adapted its fall music theatre production to a virtual experience. Here’s what I did as part of the Marketing team:

  • Created paid and organic social media strategies to promote Baldwin Wallace’s first virtual production of Spring Awakening
  • Composed 20 Instagram and Facebook posts, with a per post average of 2,794 impressions and 25 website clicks organically
  • Co-produced the interview series Those You’ve Known featuring past and current cast members of Spring Awakening

Freedom Summer musical – Marketing

During the spring semester of 2020 I was part of the producing team of the brand new musical Freedom Summer. We worked under the supervision of Playhouse Square’s senior management, and was responsible for:

  • Creating a logo and the visual identity of the show
  • Writing a press release
  • Strategizing and creating media content for the show’s advertisement

Tickets were sold out a month before opening. However, because of Covid-19 the show was canceled.


Academic Premiere of Kinky Boots – Marketing

As part of the social media team for the academic premiere of Kinky Boots, I was responsible for developing a media strategy and social media content for the show’s advertisement. My work reached Kinky Boots‘ Broadway Director, Jerry Mitchell, who came to watch the show, as well as Jujamcyn Theaters President, Jordan Roth, who has engaged in an Instagram post.

  • Participated in brainstorming and production meetings;
  • Created the campaign #BootsatBW. People would take pictures of the iconic red boots and use the hashtag, creating user generated content;
  • Posted videos on social media that boosted ticket sales, resulting in a sold out run.

BSA Architecture – Marketing Internship

BSA is the most important architecture office in Curitiba, Brazil. Designing high-rises for 40 years, the office needed to update its social presence and marketing strategy.

  • Developed a workflow for the new Marketing department;
  • Created content and managed Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest accounts;
  • Partnered with its clients for sharing social media content.

Tintas Verginia – Marketing Consulting Project

Tintas Verginia is a regional Brazilian paint shop, whose main competitor is Sherwin-Williams. On this consulting project, I served as head of the marketing team.

  • Audited the company and it’s competitors’ digital presence;
  • Analyzed business intelligence data and suggested product placement changes accordingly
  • Acted as management consultant for 3 branch stores;

All You Need is Music – Producer

As part of my social entrepreneurship class, each group of students had to come up with a product or an event to raise money for the biggest children’s hospital in Brazil. Leading a group of other five students, we created the concert All We Need Is Music in partnership with the Curitiba Suzuki Orchestra.

  • Created the visual identity for the concert;
  • Picked the repertoire;
  • Negotiated with theatre venues;
  • Pitched the project for sponsors;
  • Over 900 tickets sold and US$ 4,000 revenue.

Management Experience Program – Account Manager

MEP is an innovative business major from FAE Business School. First year students are responsible for creating content and managing the programs’ social media platforms as part of their Digital Marketing class.

  • Created content and managed MEP´s Intagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest accounts;
  • Presented weekly insights and page analytics;
  • Increased in 40% the number of applicants for the following school year
